Default Has anyone noticed a significant difference in performance when switching gas brands?....

I'm not talking about octane, just the brand (ie. SHell, mobile, sunoco, etc.)
I've been using Shell V-power (93 oct) for about 6 months now. Yesterday I decided to fill up with Hess (also 93 octane) and right away felt a difference. The car was pulling a little better and the throttle seemed a lot smother for some reason. It literally felt like the car was given a boost in HP. Am I going insane? Has the cold weather finally gotten to me? or has anyone else experienced this phenomenon?

Yes, Texaco Prem - strong pull, rougher. Amoco Prem = weak pull, smoother.

Default Fuel- I always try to buy fuel from a high volume station

Some stations fuel has excess water or other contents in storage tanks. Fresh gas will make your car run better too.
Have you added any fuel injector cleaner in your car? Detergents in gas can help car run better too if injectors are a little clogged.
