Has anyone put 215/45 17 on the factory sport rims??

We don't have 235s to harness all the horsepower, it's for cornering grip & stability.

215/50/17 is closer in rolling diameter to 235/45s.

you're right

but since I bought my snow tires used with 400 miles on them off of a guy with a TT who was moving to Florida, that's what I stuck with.

not to mention it's a snow tire, :) who cares if your speedo is off by 2-3%

it's better for snow anyway
