This has been the third time I've blown the fuse for the washer pump...

Again this morning, the fuse to the washer pump went out. For all 3 times, I've had the 25A fuse (which should be the recommended one).
Of course, this winter has been a lot colder than in the past years (and a lot more snow!) plus tons of salt that mess up my A4 (yuk!). Do you think I should replace it with a 30A or would there be something else causing the fuse to blow?

I'm thinking about the possibility that the headlight washers may be getting frozen. If you try the washer with your lights on and the pop up is frozen, this may be causing the fuse to blow. Not sure if the pop up washer is electro/mechanical or operates by water pressure.

The fuse is blowing because of a short? Putting in a bigger fuse is not usually a good idea. It is like putting pennies in the fuse box. One day when you need the circuit to break your house burns down.

and replaced it. Others on this board have been putting in a 30 amp fuse.

25 amp fuse did not fix it. Dealer has been less than helpful. Some of the comments they gave me was, "don't use the washers with the headlights on in the cold", "don't park your car outside overnight in the cold", "don't worry the weather will be getting warmer soon". I'm in the process of getting better answers :-)
