the regular headlight bulb is out, is "dipped" just the description of like the projector headlight, or does it literally mean it is dipped? I do NOT have xenon, but im not original owner so i was curious if it meant it used to or something. Im replacing the headlight tommorrow but was wondering if anyone knew if that meant I had an additional problem with the light other than the bulb. Thanks

yes. that message comes and goes in many cases and can just be a loose connection. i would not worry about it until you have to take the car in for something else.

then there is a loose connection that is provoked by the inertial forces acting on the wiring or components of the headlight during left turns, the effects variable with the speed through the maneuver. If you mean that the light beam actually dipped, or was briefly lowered, by the autoleveling function, during a left turn, then that system has a problem during left turns.
