Note: I live in a low dust, low pollution area.

ditto, use K&N filter cleaner... pick it up at any pep boys or autozone type place

Default Why do people clean them so often? According to K&N...
they're suppose to last up to 50k miles out of the box! No wonder people have been having problems with MAF sensors...they over oil or don't wait long enough for the oil to penetrate!

I had a K&N filter on my RS Akimoto intake for my 93 Honda Accord...I only cleaned it once after about 30k miles, with no problems whatsoever!

unless you're in a high dust / pollutant environment.

Default DON"T OVER OIL
You'll blow your MAF. At least that's what I hear.
