the next gen TT is the car that might really catch my eye....
whatever i get next i plan on having for 2 years or so (to finish out college in)...
that being said the TT is 1 year minimum away.... then give 1 year... for first years problems and im in line for a redesigned TT
plus for the TT i'd be getting used so much of the depreciation is gone...
i think i really like the a3... especially with the 2.0t and nav+... but ive always been a fan of the tt225 and 2 door cars
either way... i don't wanna spend too much... so a CPO'ed TT will come in cheaper than an A3 by a bunch...
hopefully after college i can save up and get a really cool car... like s4, rs4, m3, type of car

think resale value. I would certainly be pissed!
not just that, and I am sure of this, everyone here wants the latest and greatest. the new TT should look really nice. between the two, the old one may be tried and true but its time for a new one to take its place. newer style, newer technologies, new new new...

i'm in college too and as tempting as it is to get a sports car like the TT, having the extra room to move my stuff around is great - particularly considering how often I have to move from one room to another (damn quarter system....)
I'd say that a 6sp A3 would offer a good balance between fun and space and it looks pretty good in person too - if I were getting rid of my A4, thats probably what I'd get (hell you might even be able to put the Oetty rims on it)

no matter what im pretty much 100% sure my car is gone within a month or just a little bit more time
the a3 may be the most practical of the bunch... we'll see how i feel as it gets closer to happening the a3 being fwd is a big negative to me atleast...
the Z might still be the option i go with ... just for a change of pace for 2-3 years... and by then i could probably have that out of my system and come back to audi for a classy/luxury vehicle
