having transimission problem at 52k miles
so my car was making a funny noise only in 1st gear. Almost sounded like an old diesel engine. All the other gears were perfectly fine. Car drives fine but i wanted it checked out just in case it was something serious.
so i went to go visit Jose at Eurotech who is highly recommended by everyone on the socal boards. He drove my car and immediately knew what the problem was. He said a lot of the B5s had the same problem but not as common in B6s. Basically, he said my transmission is going bad and to fix it would cost almost as much as replacing it. He said to have this problem at 52k miles is just ridiculous and that I should call AoA to see if they will fix it for good will. I understand this is a super long shot but at this point, i guess i have nothing to lose.
Has anyone had any luck getting Audi to fix something when your car was out of warranty??
