Yes I did my homework. Leaning towards the bobcats, even though they are more $$$$. The only thing I couldn't find was how rotor friendly they are. Are they both about about the same or would you guys say that one is easier on the stock rotos than the other?

They have almost caused me and another person on this board a serious accident when first using them. They will resist fade like a mother, but have poor initial bite (some people say they prefer this because of better pedal modulation) and do need to be warmed up else you will find yourself not stopping at all. The HPS are more aggressive in initial bite and far better for street use but not as good on the track. cheers! mike

https://forums.audiworld.com/a4/msgs/2169265.phtml</a

If you brake a bit harder a couple of times before needing them then they'll warm up pretty quickly. The problem is if you need to stop quickly after pulling out of your driveway or cruising along the freeway for an hour. I would just stand on the brakes every few lights when city driving and it would keep them nice and responsive, but otherwise it got a little hairy. They were great on even Sebring International Raceway (something CT says they are not supposed to be able to stand up to). cheers! Mike

and bedding them in properly quiets them a bit too. It was a real chore to bed them in. It took several 80mph - 5mph stops. cheers! Mike
