Default Hay Stephen@APR or Any APR developer.. the FUEL FILTER

Listen, i know you guys took apart the fuel filter when deciding if it would be possible to amp up the fuel pressure regulator in the fuel filter.

So. the nagging question. Based on your research, i assume you've torn one open, do you think the filter is capable of sustaining life.

If this was a normal less expensive filter from a b5, would you then say change it every 60K or 4 years?

If not, why would you say it is a lifetime filter. I've never heard of any "filter" techology that is lifetime. A clogged fuel filter can lead to early death of a fuel pump or starvation of fuel at high flow times?

What does APR think about replacing the fuel filter. I deem the life of the car 125K minimum miles. I deem the fuel filter as a 3/36K item on my other cars (bmw,ls1,vw).

Inquiring minds would like to know..
