Headlight and Fogs
does anyone know what's the spec. (non-xenon) for headlight and fogs ? Is it H4 for headlight and H3 for fogs ? How do I get to the headlight and fog lights to replace the bulbs ? Is the PIAA extreme white any good or is the Hella better ?

Halogen H7 for HB/LB and H11 for foglights in US.
Try Philips or Osram H7 bulbs (Vision Plus, Silver Star,...), and EPi Ultra Blue or other H11 bulb for the foglights. Take a look at EPi

Do a search for foglight installation instructions and also headlight installation instructions...
For fogs, I wouldn't recommend superwhites, by the way. Amber or "blue-filter" bulbs are best for fogs.

Well, I have E-Codes, so I put the bulbs in before installing them...
but to get at them, you have to remove the back panel covering them. There is a metal latch over each piece- holding it in place. Once you have this panel off, you can access the bulbs in the headlight. Not sure what might be in the way though in the engine compartment- behind the headlights.
As for the foglights; the passenger side is pretty easy. Just access it from behind, underneath. Wear latex/rubber gloves to help get a grip and just turn the bulb socket (CCW I think) and gently pull it out. Then pull out the bulb; there is a two-sided plastic prong that holds it in place, so you have to try and push these open a little, then wiggle out the bulb.
The drivers side is a bit harder, but still accessible. (Plus, I have an Oettinger front bumper, so I am not sure if this makes it any different with getting at it). Remove the grille around it to expose the foglight housing and then do essentially the same as you did on the passenger side. But on the driver side, there is a rubber piece close to the back of the bulb- so you have to use one hand (fingers) to push back on it, while you use your other hand to turn the bulb socket and gently pull it out and down at an angle (being careful with the bulb). It is sort of like doing it blind with your hands. You'll understand once you do it. Then to replace it, just do the reverse (pushing that piece out of the way with one hand and angling the bulb back into the socket, making sure it is all the way in and then turning it).

Yes. Unless for some reason mine changed from having the Oettinger front bumper installed...
other then that, I did exactly what I said per my instructions. It was not all that difficult, or consuming, of a task. You could always try it again for practice, to see.
