Help...... Changed oil and now transmission is slipping?????

Did I read correctly...u jacked up one side of the car to drain the old oil?
Either get an oil extractor or some ramps/jackstands which would explain why you only needed 5 qts (ie. you didn't drain the oil properly). I have a hard time thinking that an oil change could affect your tranny.

he filled 5qts on top of the 6 quarts that was already in there...
he didnt drain the oil, he drained the tranny fluid by mistake, then drove and wondered why his tranny was slipping...so 11 qts of oil in engine

running the tip tranny with no fluid even at idle will pretty much ruin it.
Luckily, you cant drain everything out without letting it drain overnight. The slipping means the fluid pump was not making pressure. This will cause friction disks to slip in the clutch packs. If you did in fact pull the tranny drain plug, you just drained 5 quarts of very expensive pentosin hydraulic oil. The dealer charges about $22/quart.
Hopefully the fluid pump is not ruined. That mistake will cost 4-6 thousand dollars in parts and labor.
