It had to happen. Anyways, the wheels just touch the caliper (we're talking 1mm or less). They just rub against the surface on a very small arear (very minute). I already slightly scratched the caliper, so I'm pissed and depressed right now. My cars on the rack at the dealer and I have until 5pm to sort it out. Come 7am Monday morning, another tech will be in and this is his rack, so he'll just put a roller jack underneath the front and move my car. Seems my only option is to find a spacer in SoCal. Other option is to have HRE change the offset, but that cannot be done until this coming week. The guys at the dealer are helping me out as much as they can, but I need to get my car moved ASAP (and if I can only temporarily move it, at least get it moved in a safe way). Any thoughts where I might get a spacer in SoCal? Any other thoughts? One other consideration was to put washers on the inside of the lugs to space the wheel out. At least then I could move the car until I get a proper spacer or change the wheel offset. The thing about using a spacer though, is that it might just put me back where I was with the tires rubbing before. I only need 2-3mm for it to clear. This is fvcked!

Not sure if it'll be too late, but I do have some cheap generic non-hubcentric 5mm spacers I could loan you.
Let me know if you need them, I can send 'em out on Monday.

Hopefully someone in your area will have a couple of spacers. Failling that maybe use the washer but only to move your car to a safe area ehile you get your wheels modded. Of course you could leave the regular brakes on too, while the wheels get modded. Sorry I can't help. Good luck.
