Help! Engine won't turn, car thinks it's standard
Hi, this is a great forum, hopefully I can get some advice from anyone here. I have an Audi 2004 A4 CVT base model that when turning the ignition key the engine won't turn at all. This happened with no warning. When I turn the key nothing happens, everything comes on on the dash display, and it even says "press clutch pedal to start engine" and the car is an automatic transmission. I checked the box where the computer is in the engine compartment and is dry, also checked the starter relay no. 369 and it's good. The code reader says U0101 Lost Communication with TCM. Has anybody seen this before? Any advice or a place to start looking? Thanks.
