Default HELP! Fluid will not flow to rear brakes!

I recently replace my rear rotors and pads. Unfortunately, I had to disconnect one of the rear brake lines. Now, when I tried to bleed the brakes no fluid is pumping to the rear lines. Front lines are bleeding fine. Anyone know why this would happen? Please help!

Default take it off and see if there are fluids in the line

so you can see if caliper won't fill.

Default How do you know that there is no fluid pumping to the rear lines?...

You know that the brakes are diagonal connected, right? That is, the front left and rear right are connected together, and the front right and rear left are connected together.

Default Keep trying, and get someone to pump the pedal as well. You just haven't...

gotten all the air out yet.

I have been checking the master cylinder and the fluid level does not move.

Default Have you read the Bentley Manual instructions?...

The manual states that 2 bar or about 30 psi is needed to bleed the system properly, and recommends pressure bleeding only, but does mention using the pedal as well.

I have not. I have a vacuum bleeder, but no pressure bleeder. I assumed (incorrectly?) that a pedal bleed would be fine. My helper accidently pumped the clutch, then the brake while the master cylinder was open. Could that affect things?

Default Yeah that is possible. Pressure on the fluid at the reservoir is needed to force..

fluid through the ABS hydraulic controller. So, vac at the wheels won't cut it. You can try pumping the pedal down, then opening a rear bleeder screw, then closing the bleeder again before allowing the pedal up. An inexpensive pressure bleeder should be available at better parts stores, or maybe Sears has one. If you can get hold of a second reservoir cap, a pressure bleeder can be made from a yard sprayer.
