HELP: how do you reomove this connection from the valve cover?
I'm trying to replace the gasket and am following the DIY steps.
What isn't mentioned is how do I disconnect the hose or the metal Y shown in the pics?
I loosened the clamp but the hose goes nowhere. Do I have to lossen both clamps, cut off the one to the recirculation valve and then yank the hose off the metal bung?
TIA for any information

Figured it out. Clamp has to be disengaged AND you push at the same time
as the lip of the bung is pretty far back.
When I initially moved the clamp backwards it was still holding the hose in place.
The small one is a PITA to get off.
Now I have to go buy a 10mm deep socket to get at those last 2 nuts.
What worries me is the amount of residual oil that is being recirculated into the air intake as it is everywhere in these hoses.
