Default help! i keep bottoming out!! ... Questions on Coilovers....which ones are best for my needs?

with my current setup, and 150-170lbs of stereo stuff in my trunk, my car sags, and with my rear valence, i SCRAPE everywhere i go, in the rear only!..

1st: which coilovers WONT rust? i wanna be able to raise my car in winter....but dont know which is best

2nd: is it true the FK coilovers are the SAME as KW?? just renamed?

3rd: from non-sport STOCK suspension, whats the LEAST drop i can have and with which coilover in the winter?

BTW, my biggest concern is the REAR of my car, i dont want the REAR to be low.

Default The only COs that will not rust is KW.

If you are looking for KWs.. they can be ordered from PES Tuning.

Variant 1 - height adjustable
Variant 2 - height and dampening adjustable
Variant 3 - full race

Default h&r wont rust? then im sold on them, i would LOVE KW v2, but they dont let you raise..

the car that much.

the lowering range on kw2's is 1.4"-2.4" in the rear.

for h&r, it is .75"-1.7" in the rear.

Default Why would you want to raise the coilovers?

The object of getting coilovers is for lowering adjustability.

KW Suspensions at this time is the only company to offer a stainless steel shock body which will prevent rust and oxidation and will also allow for smooth collar adjustments over time.

Default Yes, but the KW systems still offer adjustability

without the sacrifice of swallowing road debris. Unless of course you like the Allroad.
