Ok so I'm installing the K&N Filter... does it need to be pushed down into the air filter box? I'm finding that it doesn't fit in there snug... it tends to want to bend out. Does any one out ther have the same problem? I bought the filter at the Dealer so I'm pretty sure that they gave me the right one... Here's a pic of the gaps.

There's a gap between the bottom of the air filter box and the filter itself... is this ok?

I did however have to get the airbox open qite a bit and stuff the filter in good

I did a little research on this... Turns out the dealer gave me a filter for an 01 and not an 03. MAN! You'd think they would know their own stuff? (McKenna Audi in So Cal)... I asked the guy if it was for an 03 and he said yes... what a dumb sh*t. I guess I'll just order one online and give this one away...
