I need one soon. I've read the forums and epinions.com. Still not sure what band/laser CT state troopers use to pull guys like me over, anyone know? I also want to hardwire if possible; my dealer warned me of this though. Said it could mess up electrical and wouldn't be covered under warranty. Regardless, does anyone have instruction on how to hardwire? Best place to buy online? thx

I have a V1 for 8 year now and have sent it out for a firmware update every three years and no tickets so far. I also have one on my A4. Laser detection is great but that just tells me to put my seat belt on cause I am getting pulled over. If you want something inconjuction for laser try the Lidatek LE-20 Laser Echo. Buddy of mine has one on his S4 and he swears by it. I will be getting one soon on both cars.

Try the BEL 975R just installed this into my TT and more than happy. V1's best feature is the directional arrows but I hate to have something stuck on my windscreen or dash..... looks to much like a ricer

I am thinking about getting one as well, but it not easy to decide...these are the big questions in life right now I guess.

V1 in the S4...because I can get into trouble in that car if I'm not careful. Beater gets the 8500...can't go fast enough to get into trouble, but it does save me from the nuisance tickets.
