Default This has happened to a lot of people ...

... A couple of weeks ago my windshield washers stopped working (on my '02 A4), and I took my car to the dealer to have it fixed. I was told that it was just a blown fuse. A week later, the fuse blew again (they had used a 20 amp, although AoA has upgraded it to a 30 amp). I also noticed that the headlamp washers didn't work either. So I took the car back to the dealership.
To make a long story short, they said that the headlight washer pump went bad, and that was causing the fuse to blow. So they put in a new headlight washer pump, and upgraded the #37 fuse to a 30 amp. So far, everything is still working.

Default a b6 with headight or windshield washer problems

no way!

replace the fuse and the headlight washer pump... that typically is the problem. The VDO made 3b7-955-681 pump is a piece of crap and they crap out all the time.

Default I don't feel so bad paying the $50 now for the dealership to do it, less hassles for me, especially

in the cold weather (or so I hear!!).
