I am leveraging the existing submarine type antenna for my RNS-E. The instruction I have found are short and not so clear. Please help me if you can.
1) Looks like I would pull the rear 4-inch strip roof liner straight down carefully first. No need for special tools right?
2) then try to look for the connector above the passenger D pillar.
3) I would like to remove the D pillar trim to properly feed the cable down -- instead of just "tucking i behind it" -- how do I remove D pillar trim? Just pull hard again?
4) I have folded seats, I would like to tuck the cable behind the plastic trim not leaving it exposed before I get to the bottom door trim. Any idea on how I would do that? to remove the plastic trim of the seat-back? Again am I asking too much, should I just "tuck it?"
Thanks,
zoich

then behind the rear seats.
The trim just pulls down, no tools needed. As far as removing the rest of the C pillar, you would need to take out the rear handle bar (above door) as there are screws holding the trim in.
Simplest way is to just tuck it. It's not going to show and will be secure enough.
