Default Help needed for a mod for the car...

I would like to replace my two OEM fog lights by much smaller units. I don't care whether they are better or worst in output than stock. I want to get rid of the bulkiness of the OEM units to let more air flow to the I/Cs. I still need day time driving lights in Canada so as long as something comes on when the car is running I would be happy. Anyone here know of such fog lights? These would have to fit in the same location as the stock unit without the use of the stock's housing. as long as it looks clean I don't care. These will be fitted to my Caractere front bumper for summer use.

I always thought PIAA made nice foglights. Also check out Catz/Raybrig

I have an '04 1.8TQ Ultrasport with 19' OZ Superleggera 3-pc, Toyo 235/35 T1Ss, Champion Motorsports cat-back exhaust, high flow cat ordered but not installed,B&M shifter with 25 oz UUC ****, Carbonio intake, xenons, Sirius, etc. I am very interested in the dual intercooler system. I contacted someone who has a pair of '01 S4 intercoolers, shrouds and hoses, etc for sale. I would like to know more about the system you installed, and if it is available in America as an upgrade for my stock system. I want something stealthy, and not a front mounted Intercooler. I will probably have to re-route the Carbonio or go back to the stock intake with K&N filter, if this works out. Dual intercoolers are a higher priority than the Carbonio for me.

Yes Greedspeed is the official place to get the kit from. You will have to dump the Carbonio.

You'll want to consult Eddieman, the Re of lighting.

Default Re: Greedspeed Dual Intercoolers

Whoa!!! Greedspeed wants $849 for a 2nd intercooler, duct, hoses, brackets and screws, etc. I got a $250 quote from Champion Motorsports for a new intercooler, so there is an additional $600 in parts? I saw a pair of used B5 S4 intercoolers with ducts, hoses, brackets, clamps complete for $150. Is the B5 S4 system identical to the B6 A4 system? Is it do-able at home? I know I will need to remove the front bumper cap, so it's a big procedure, but $849 sounds outrageous, considering I still need to get it installed (another $200+?). Any ideas?
Also, tell me about the electronic intercooler misters. How much? How effective? I guess rust is a long term problem with a mister?
