Help needed when replacing oil filter....
When changing my oil, I have a hard time not spilling some of the oil residing within the oil filter whenever its getting unscrewed. Right now I'm loosing my mind as I'm not sure if the oil drops beneath the car are from a faulty oil change or from the oil that leaked when removing the filter.
Anyone have a suggestion on how to remove the filter by minimizing spilling the oil? I need to clean what was spilled already and can I hose it off?? I need some help here as I'm going nuts knowing that there is some dripping beneath my baby...easy on the jokes there!

Re: Put a plastic bag around the oil filter before you screw it off too far...
Thanks. That makes sense - didn't think of it...
What's the best way to clean off the oil residue that spilled? Do you recommend hosing it off?
