I just went to get my 40,000 mile maintenance check up this afternoon and now my car is having problems. It keeps stalling and the battery light comes on when I put my gears in neutral coming to a stop or when I press my brakes.

Anyone have had experiences like this before? I thought it might be the spark plugs that they replaced, so I switched them to my NGK BRK6Es and it still has the same symptoms. I am thinking of bringing it back to the dealer tomorrow, but I was curious to see if anyone has experienced this before....

If the batteries were dying, it would cause it not to start, but it starts fine. It only stalls after it is in motion and when I come to a stop or slow down with the brakes.

Maybe something to do with the alternator or belts?

Maybe it's just the warm idle setting.

Vacuum leak? What did they touch for the 40,000 mile tune-up?
