HELP---stereo went blank...nothing works!!!
having some problem with the stereo...actually nothing works at all and the screen is this blank bright red with all the button lights staying on with the car even locked...
not sure what's going on, nothing in the stereo manual about it.
thought you guys might know what's wrong and maybe know a remedy...

calm down.... look inside
same thing happened to me twice!!!
all you need to do is remove the fuse for the stereo and put it back in... thats what the dealer did for me...
should start working immeditately after that...
try doing that...
if it still doesnt work then go to dealer..

fixed....thanks for the help
sorry about the excitement, just a little bit strange coming from a 1yr old car...but i guess i've been spoiled with the BMWs reliability...
