Hi
Not committed yet - would not pick up until Saturday Morning....
Getting a commuter for my wife. 2003 A4 3.0 Quattro - Tip with Premium, Cold, Sport 17" wheels, Bose Stereo, Full Leather (PAW, PPX, PRV, PLD, 8RY). Black on Black.
48 month lease - $500 over invoice for cap cost, money factor of .0011 (2.64). Residual for 48 mos is 45%. Seems Audi is giving good deals on the 2003s to get rid of them.
Chose this over a 2003 MB C-Class 240.
Seem good to you ?
I used to lease an A6 2.7T 2001 - great car !

Current money factor for a 2003 A4 3.0 lease is 0.0006. If the dealer tells you otherwise, ask the F&I guy to show you bulettin A0308-292L, it shows 0.0006 money factor for 2003 A4 3.0 quattro.
That "little" difference in money factor will cost you voer $1300 in payments over 48 months, which is nothing but extra profit for the dealer. This is what's called back end profit and the sneakiest profit there is.
Don't be a victim!
I also assume that you will pay the bank fee and security deposit up front. If not it can be rolled into your cap cost so it will be more than $500 over invoice.
$500 over invoice as a sale price is good, and the 45% residual is correct if you're talking about a 15k miles/year lease. Add 2% for 12k or 3% for 10k miles/year.
Make sure they lower the money factor to the actual money factor offered by AoA, all the other numbers seem to be correct.
Dude, I just saved you $1300, how'bout you buying me something? :-D

This car will cost you about $465/month according to my calculations if you roll the bank fee into the cap cost.
A similarly equipped 1.8T (PPY,PRV,8RY,PAW,PX3) would cost you about $403/month for 48 months (given same $500 over invoice sale price, 47% residual and 0.0009 money factor)
That is $62/month difference which is almost $3000 over the term of the lease. If you think that's a "small increment" I envy you....
At any rate, good luck with your purchase, you won't regret it!
