Default Around $1700 with the VAGCom software.

Just about everything was purchased off of Ebay.de. I used the local dealer for connectors, antenna and various other stuff.

Default Yes, there is about 8 languages you can choose. Great system!.............

and it uses the same CDs I have for my TravelPilot DX -R70 that I just installed in my 85 BMW.

Default Legalities....afraid you will wreck and sue Audi NA.............

because you were looking at display and not paying attention to the road. This is a price to be paid by morons being awarded millions for spilling coffee.

The Europeans don't sue and will not put them selves in a position to be sued by the greedy lawyers in the states.

Off my soap box now.

Default NAV is nice but expensive

I have the NAV on my 2003 Nissan 350Z Track. It was a $1,995 option, which is too much. I only got it because every car available at my dealer last March was loaded with NAV and I didn't want to wait to order one without it.

Actually I like it, but you only use it about 5% of the time when you don't know where you are going. The rest of the time it is useless.

Still, I agree Audi should have made it an option on the new S4. Surprisingly, I kind of miss not having it in the S4 I just got.

or is the radio area the same size?
