Default Hesitation after APR "+" upgrade?

It's really starting to get annoying.
Just upgraded from APR stage 1 to the "+" program with the Bosch injectors.
My car runs great, idle is smooth, pulls harder at highway speeds and seems to have less lag.

Now for the problem; When the engine is not fully warmed up(needle at the 12 o'clock), the engine surges/hesitates between shifts when the RPM drops bellow 2K, especially between 2nd and 3rd gears. I find myself shifting at much higher RPM's to avoid the stumble = not good for a cold engine. Could I have a faulty injector dumping too much fuel cold? I did a few logs and didn't notice anything unusual, any ideas? Oh, and the problem is even more pronounced when I switch to the stock program.

Currently running;
APR stage 1+
ER FMIC
EVO BPV
APR Snub mount

Default Try having your APR dealer put the real stock Audi code back in to eliminate hardware problems.

Good Luck to you.

I have the APR home programmer, if I switch back to the stock injectors and stock programming the hesitation goes away. Could the spark plugs be to cold to handle that much fuel cold? They are stock plugs with +/- 15K miles on them.

Default i run brk7's gapped to .030 5K change interval with apr stage 1+

you realize that rough idle you speak of was the precursor (about 2 weeks) to a coilpack failing. I surely hope you have a set of "R" new coilpacks or Hitachi "E"'s in there.

whats wierd is when the coilpack failed it idled fine then on boost misfired 100%.

no other mods to car other than SS DV
