Default Hex bolt head...what size is this???

Does anyone know what size hex bolt is required for #3 bolt. I need to remove the bottom section of steering wheel trim and can't get purchase on these. I know there is a third under the steering column, I need to remove just these two..

Default Thanks...but you should recognize that as your B6 steering wheel trim! ;-)

Finalizing the V1 Remote Display for the B6 cars!!

Housing lens still has the protective paper on it...

Default It's a torx and IIRC it's a T8.

You'll want one one a screwdriver type handle as they are pretty far up there.

Default went back to the Bentley and it doesn't specify anything...

actually think about it, you might want to email MCHammered since he's been working on a boost gauge design to go on the steering wheel column... he must know what the size of the screws are...

Default so you did find someone else to volunteer then...

that will go nicely with the remote volume unit...

Default I am working on two right now...

and one is going to be the stalk mounted mute button... Unlike the B5, the B6 steering column is sealed...so I am going to open it, drill a hole to snake the wires through and insert a rubber grommet to finish it off...
