Default Hi guys. Made it to Paris yesterday. Today I dropped in to Audi France HQ's showroom here in Paris..

Well still no new A6 (release is scheduled for May 13th)but an incredible site. Tucked away in the front corner of the showroom a DTM TTR race car. Took pictures with my friend's digital camera but unfortunately he forgot the wire to down load it to the PC. So it looks like you are going to have to wait. Also a customer showed up with his yellow S3 (older model). It was modified for him by MTM in Germany. Bumped up to 2.0 litres he told me it was rated at 425 Hps!!! I took pictures of the car too.

BTW, the TTR is powered by a 4.0 litre V8 producing 455Hp. It is mounted like in our cars not in a transverse way like on the road going TT.
It weighs 1080 kg with the driver and uses 4 really BIG carbon disk brakes.

Default Yeah, having a great time. We flew from Zurich to Samedan Airport (St-Moritz) in the Hart of the...

Swiss Alps. Airport elevation is 5000 feet above sea level. Come overhead at 17,000 feet and drop in like a dive bomber. Actually we fly down a valley and come back around in to land. You actually fly in in this valley about 3000 to 5000 feet below the peak. You better make sure it is not a dead end! The EGWPS (enhance ground proximity warning system) was squawking like a mad woman during the whole procedure, "TOO LOW PULL UP". It was neat to see the EFIS display of the mountains all RED and you could actually follow the darn thing to navigate through the mountain pass, real slick stuff in our airplanes. Anyways we filmed most of the approach into the airport so I might be able later on to show it.

Default That sounds like an awesome flight. No routine descent there! Definitely share that video...

Take care. Mike
