Default HID

Can anyone please tell me if there is a difference between Philips HID D2R 35W headlight bulbs and ones that are 6000 Kelvin bulbs?

I hope I described these two bulbs correctly. On my A4, I curently have a set of Infinity retro fitted HID headlights which uses the Phillips. My brother says that the 6000 Kelvin bulbs are brighter and bluer.

Is it worth it to swap the bulbs? Please help. Thank you for your help.

Default If you swap...

You will get a nicer, crisp color, but you will lose a little overall light output.

Default You havent given the color temperature of the Philips bulbs...

You only gave the wattage. 5500K is closest to daylight. Above that, you should see it look more blue/purple but less light output. Without knowing where the Philips are at, no way to win or lose this argument. BTW, the B6 A4 uses the D1S bulb at 4300K. It is also 35watts. cheers! Mike
