high pitched squeaky noise from cd player...what is it?
i've noticed that the cd player makes some high pitched squeaky notices while playing cds. pretty loud. i have to turn the volume way up to not notice it.
it sounds like that player is working in overdrive attempting to play the cds.
most of my cds are burned cdrs. could that be a reason?
or is there something wrong with my player?

Re: it's more chirpy than high pitched...mis-described it.
i just bought the car 3 weeks ago. i doubt that i need to clean it. barely even used the cd player.
anyone else have this problem?
