Default Yes, my coils are Hitachi "E" versions modified by Ignition Solutions.

The modification involves the primary circuit power output stage electronics, the secondary side is not changed.

Default The more compact arrangement of the B6 stock cps effects the secondary insulation

resistance, and is not as robust as the B5 setup.
I will be supprised if Bremi responds with any real info, but I hope you get a useful reply to your inquiry, please post back if you do.

I don't know the OEM, but they look similar to the B6 Bremi coils.

Default One rumor, from the UK....

..in an attempt to bring down the costs of the coils, Bremi out-sourced'm to another country with lower labor costs. Quality suffered, and results were failed coil packs.

Maybe, but all my Bremi coils are marked "Made in Germany".

Default so are Meyle parts, but they are manufactured in China and boxed in Germany

all meyle parts are crap and fail prematurely

How about the failed coils? Might be a foreign internal part?
