Flagged although the odo was not tampered with. The stupid state employee mis-recorded the miles when the car came back for a 2nd emissions test. Ergo the car had a rollback. Finaly sold that hot-potato, a '91 90q 20v, the only Audi I owned that I did not like.

i checked carfax' record when i had my acura. it reported a possible odometer rollback, in washinton, even though i live in nj.

a reason for "rollback warning" was that i drove on avg.20K a year for 3 years, then switched jobs and used public transportation. my mileage went down to 8K a year, but carfax kept calculating miles to the tune of 20K per year.
