i used my sport rims for winter and noticed that i've got tiny rust spots on the finish. it won't come off with regular washing. my friend says that it's just brake dust that's stuck on to the rim over the winter, and that it's actually the brake dust rusting, not the rim. but it's stuck pretty good. anyone know a rim cleaner or otherwise to remove this?

The wheel cleaner that Audi brands and sells always cleans my wheels very well. Just spray it on and wash off. Occasionally I have to rub a little bit with a rag. I wax my wheels shortly after I get a new car and wash them regularly.
