Default How do all you younger guys afford a $30k car?

I see a bunch of 18-21 year old guys with A4s. I know I sure couldn't handle a $500+ car payment plus insurance when I was in college. What's the story with you guys?

https://forums.audiworld.com/a4gen2/msgs/431701.phtml</a

Default Here's how...

Bought mine when I was 23 (25 now) Had a decent job at the time, so I was able to put $16,000 down and get decent payment for 48 months.

Default I would imagine that some have the following...

They have generous parents who either bought the car for them or is paying the car while they are paying the insurance and gas. Also, I'll bet some are leasing instead of buying (lower monthly payments).

Others may have, in fact, been able to finance it themselves (job). If I'm not mistaken, College tuition is still free to California residents (paid through local taxes). That's a big savings there!

Default i'm 22, graduated college in 2002, working 2 jobs, i pay my own ins. and car payments...

All my parents do is provide me with a roof to live under...therefore i dont have to pay rent or housing anywhere....its really not that hard if you think about it...maybe for college kids but some of them might even have decent paying jobs...with 10K down...payments are only like 400 a month or so for 5 years.
