Default run wires to the trunk, behind the panelling on the right side

and tap them into the stock amp's output wires for rear speakers. as for the sub, i'd suggest just getting an aftermarket amp and sub(s)

Default Dude, if you're gonna change the HU, might as well change the rest...

I think changing the HU is more complicated than adding amps and subs. I added a sub to my stock system last weekend. It's added bass, but I miss how clean the system was from my last car.

I figure if you're gonna change your HU, change the rest! I think you'll be much happier with the outcome because the stock speakers aren't really worth keeping.

Default the amp only powers the rear speakers unless you have bose and with bose

you can't a diff head unit.

I'd save up till you have everything then install

Default OK i know what you're saying...

in that case though, get a decent enclosure, 1 10" sub that's rated at around 200W RMS or so (MTX RT10 comes to mind as a decent choice) and a cheap 2 channel amp, and use that. if you shop around, you can get a decent setup for under $100 that still leaves you plenty of room to upgrade in the future and is still better than the stock sub

Default Do a search, somewhere around here is a diagram of the wiring for the stock rear amp

figure out which wires go from the amp to the rear speakers (it'll be two pairs, but i don't remember which colors they are now, sorry) those are speaker-level wires that you can tap directly from the speaker-level outs of the head unit (ok you'll need to run wires to the trunk, but the point is, no adapters needed)
