how do i install an aftermarket headunit?

rear amp has line level in, but making an adapter is a bitch
much easier to use aftermarket amp or head unit and bypass stock amp. hell, most headunits have more power per channel than that thing has

i think i found the line level out on my HU and i also located the *MORE*
left rear and right rear line level inputs...
however i think i need to have a remote wire to turn the amp on...is that true?
