How do you think an '02 3.0 with unpainted lowers would look with 18" S4 Avus wheels? Yea or Nay?

Besides, you need to mod one step at a time: painted lowers can come later if you can get a good deal on the wheels now

now I am thinking that the 17s will be to small. Since there happens to be a few sets for sale on the various Audi Classified boards right now I'm thinking of maybe going for the extreme (extreme for me that is) and stepping up to 18s.
I want to find someone in the Boston area that might be willing to let me try out their 18 Avus wheels before I make the leap.

I have a Ming Blue (unpainted lowers) 03 1.8TQ with sport and 17" S4 Avus as my winter package and I think it looks good. They have a more aggressive offset than the stock sport rims (soon to be replaced by 18" RS4s) and fit the wheel well nicely.
