How does one exchange the OEM Installed Trim on the ashtrays w/ either Alum or Wood? How does...
it come off w/o damaging it and how do you mount it back on?
Glue perhaps?, I don't see any screws...
All the other trim exchange appears to be pretty straight-forward, just wonderin' about those two pieces.
Thanks in advance for any input

I followed this link when swapping out my wood to aluminum.

It really is just a matter of pulling the trim straight out and rather hard to elaborate more...
I had my thumbs on the underside of the assembly and did what one'd do when rolling a piece of paper into a straw, only in reverse with some force.
I'm guessing when he said BA, it's brushed aluminum?

For the rear ashtray...
Does the trim swap include the complete ashtray assembly?
The link you forwarded does not elaborate and almost indicates that the assembly just swaps.
Inspecting the rear ashtray, the trim appears to be glue in.
Don't want to bust-up anything. Is this right?
