Default how is this lease deal?

I'm looking for opinions. I've never leased before. Thanks.

4 yr. 15k lease
436.59 payment includes Tn. sales tax.

556.59 Total up front. Includes first payment and tag. There is no security

Is this a good deal or no?

Default = $408/mo, $550 out of pocket, 48 mo, 15k/year

Not bad, but not the best.
You can go lower.

Default Re: how is this lease deal?

this is easy...a lease is the sum of the principle and the interest. Principle is the what the agreed purchase price of the vehicle is minus the residual, divided by the term of the lease in months. the interest portion is the purchase price of the vehicle plus the residual, multiplied by the money factor (which is the interest rate in decimal form divided by 24.) For example and interest rate of 4% would be .0017. The residual is alway a percent of the MSRP without the destination charge. So first negotiate the price of the vehicle as though you were buying it based upon how much over their invoice. Don't forget this info is available at www.edmunds.com.

Default This is what I got

Price 35770
Cap Reduction 3000
Adjusted cap cost 32770
Residual Value (48%) 17169
Money Factor (1.8%) .00075
Term 48
Sales Tax % 8.25

Monthly payment 363.62 + 30.00 tax = 393.62

Deprication 15654
Finance (Rent) Charge 1800
Total Sales Tax 1683

Total of All Payments 18894
Total Lease Cost 21893.76

The total drive off was 4500. Lease with 15k a year. Both the residual and money factor were VERY strong. I found it fair.
