How loud is the "beep" on your alarm?

Default How loud is the "beep" on your alarm?
Is it just my car or is the alarm on the A4s really quiet?

When I set the alarm and it "beeps" its a real quiet discrete beep...and then if I set the alarm off, it's no louder...just a series of very quiet beeps.

Is that how everyone's is?

Default Yes, the activation is very quiet
I've not yet set off the alarm -- if I ever get my car back, I'll try it and see.

I've had 2 girlfriends tell me the horn of the A4 is sissy-sounding... Too low..

My 2004 doesn't beep when disarming. How can I change it?
