How many people get rock chips

How many people get rock chips
on the front part of there front fenders , like little white pits on a bb or any other color. and i stay away from all big trucks and dont tail gate at all

after 1.5 years, my front bumper is covered with chips, even a few big ones on the hood.
The ones you get on the highway are the worst because the rocks get spit out from under the wheels of cars/trucks at very high speeds.
Oh, and I have a few rock chips in my windshield as well :-(

probably why very rarely get chips and never had a cracked window...except
once, we borrowed a car when we took a golf in for repairs for a day or two, big old volvo, and going at about 10 mph in traffic and a big stone got kicked out from a car in front and just smacked into the windscreen, chipped in one day

My 98.5 Santorin Blue B5 bumper and hood have been repainted 3 times due to stone chips.
It is by far the worst paint I've ever seen on a car. If you look at it wrong it seems to fall off. Audi cannot give me a reasonable answer as to why it does this nor are they willing to respray it. The roads I travel are no dirtier than most other roads out there. It's a huge blemish on an otherwise great car.

If you live in a metro area with high traffic, your gonna get em...
I commute 40 miles/day on the major N-S route (75 runs from MI to FL), and no matter what the following distance, you get chips.
I am pleased to see that my 2002 seems to be getting less of them than my 2001 did, though I did just get a #$@$#% chip in the middle of the windshield.
