Default I believe the body shop is Stutgart (sp?) and Champion did raise the rates on it...

I got them down on price because when I got my car they quoted us a price and then it changed, but they honored the price they orginally quoted us. Then they made a mistake on something so we go them down even more. We also got sport springs from them so they werre able to work with us.

They told me a $1000, and they had an Allroad with painted lowers at a price of $1460.

I'm just wondering if I cut out the middleman (Champion) can I get a better price.

Thanks for your help.

Default I haven't seen any dealers here take non-refundable deposits

Instead of non-refundable, they ask for 10% down or to run the paperwork before the car is delivered. I said there was no way I would pay 10% down, but offered $1,500 in writing that it was refundable. I think they assume that if you're putting enough money down you are serious enough. But, this all varies by region.

Keep in mind that Seattle, Redmond, Bellevue (where the Audi and BMW dealership are located), and Kirkland are full of the Tech/Microsoft employees. It's almost as bad as trying to buy a car in LA, which I had the unfortunate luck to do, buying a car for a friend on mine.

That sounds like a terrible situation.

You would probably get it less cutting out the middle man, I wanted the piece of mind of my dealer

My dealer takes refundable deposits, as well our BMW dealer does it... you've just gotta shop around

Default There are a total of 6 BMW/Audi dealers in WA

Unfortunately, It seems as though I've gotten a better deal than what most others are getting.

The other dealerships I called, basically said there's nothing they could do. "You might as well stick with them, since we can't cut you a better deal."

Sure, I probably could have searched around the internet, dealership to dealership in different states, but it wasn't worth it to alienate the dealer that will end up servicing the car to save an additional 500 possibly 700 dollars.
