how much do B5 S4 brakes run for? what other options are there? i'm not looking to spend $1500

the problem was.. the item was not as advertised, missing parts (ie. brackets, etc.).
my 2 cents..
go to e-code tuning. They know wtf they are doing.

~$200 for the calipers and OEM rotors
B5 S4:
$200 - calipers
$200 - Rotors (aftermarket)
~$80 - Pads
~$25 - Fluid
Other options include B6 S4 brakes or used bbk's. As with most used items, buyer beware. That said, calipers don't typically bite the dust...whereas rotors and pads can be in bad shape.

Forgot to mention SS lines in my previous post.
Similar sources can be used for B6 S4 brakes. Although there is a much larger supply of B5 brakes available and prices on the B6 are higher.
