Default yeah i've abused 60K+ on vw plugs which are about the same

the solid platinum core side fire plugs really do last forever.

If you need to go colder or find your self needing to change gap or detonating away these plugs then cheapo copper plugs work just as fine, change at every oil interval.

Thats what I do. I kinda like to keep an eye on the plugs and see how they are evenly wearing, check for lean spots. Copper plugs 1 temp colder seem to work better with stage 1+ in the summer heat.

Kinda like the paper filter versus K&N theory unless you really need it, it doesn't buy you much
