Default Audi b6 3.0

I have a 2003 Audi A4 3.0 with about 200,000 miles on it now
I had a scare almost blew my engine at 150,000 ,I tore it all apart replaced the timing belt
and it has been a great car ever since
I suggest replacing your timeing belt at 130,000 when the car suggest to do it because when it goes there is absolutely no warning

I have 2003 v6 6 speed with 140k miles. It came from up north so it’s rusty. I’ve driven about 70 k on it. Paid $1400 a few years ago for it.

Here is my list of complaints and repairs.
broken glove box door, rear ash tray , pop out cup holder. Rear window won’t work, radio dial flickers. Wipers are expensive and you got to clean snow mesh screen in the intake before air filter. It also has a cabin filter in engine compartment that was disgusting when I got it. The hand brake is under the arm rest….annoys me.

replace turn signal unit in steering column
both rear calipers. Rust
oil level sensor
engine water temp sensor
hit a coyote, need some grill parts
uses oil but cpu tells me when it’s low
intake actuators are broke. Runs fine
get 27+ mpg on high way going at least 75 mph

all repairs diy and parts not expensive

Currently, water pump is leaking, I think. I’ll do the timing belt myself over xmas. It definitely is not a Toyota in reliability but if you enjoy fixing a fast German car, it’s not a deal breaker for me

Ha, yes I skipped mentioning those. The glovebox door was fixed with industrial-strength Epoxy and some Dremel tool work. There is a minor leak from the pump area, but not enough to pull it apart. I don't mean to be a cheapskate, but I do 90-mile round trips per weekday, and don't want to use the new A5 that I bought in '20, except on the weekends and for road trips. A5 Sportback: less than 13,000 miles. A4 3.0: more than 262,000 miles - and runs great.

He then asked me my professional opinion or my own opinion? I said your own opinion. He was like there junk. He asked me what my last car was and I told him it was a 2001 2.8L. He said i should have never traded cars. I'm a little worried now. Any help or info would be great thanks. Oh the car i bought has service records and is a one owner.
