...all for taking the high road in these situations, but this jerk has some sort of superiority complex or something. He always finds ways to put us down and make negative comments towards us. I ignored the other negative comments in previous instances, but this one, about our car, got to me.

don't laugh. i work in hell's kitchen, nyc.
kids in local HS are bussed from brooklyn. those pint-sized "gangsta wannabes" are always prone to try to prove "something". but since i'm 6'3" & 200lbs, it's easier to mouth off than to achieve.
S4 is a great car (i wish i could afford one). obviously guy's just frustrated. surely, he'd want a new S4 but kids are expensive & he has to balance his " want vs. need" lists. his hostility toward you is inexcusable though.
why don't you tell him how much you plan on spending on mods?
