Ok i will try to keep this short and summarize. I already searched the threads regarding this symptom. Got narrowed down to 2 culprits. Fuel Filter and Fuel Pump.

6 months ago i replaced the fuel filter and fuel pump (siemens fuel pump). Noise went away for a bit. But came back. Replaced the Fuel Filter again. Once again, the noise went away but only for a bit.

Things ive noticed: I only hear the humming/buzzing sound when i am low on gas. ie. When my fuel indicator says i have 80 miles or under, when on my fuel gauge the indicator gets to the red marker for low fuel. I cant say this is for certain, but those are the only times i have noticed the sound.

ive never heard this sound when i have say a quarter tank of gas and up. Ever! I know it could be the gas muffles the sound or what not, either way just kind of wanted to throw this out here and see if i can get some opinions and inputs? I dont have the money to keep changing the fuel filter. or even pump.

Could it be my gas lines/systems are just super dirty and i should use a fuel additive/cleaner? or should i just keep my car always a quarter filled? Any suggestions would help?

Car runs fine otherwise, not hesitation or anything weird?
