I am a bad, bad man...
Today I did bad things.
I confirmed SUV driver's are A$$holes who like to cut you off without signaling and then get offended when you honk in protest.
I now know what WOT really means. I'd been babying the engine for break in but thought it could use a few trips up to 5K RPM after 1,100 miles. And it was a cold morning too.
I learned how good the A4's stock brakes are for unexpected obstacles like red traffic lights and how other cars end up in the middle of the intersection and have to back up.
I found out I can take higher speed, sharp turns with grace and stability while SUV's trying the same almost tip over (my, my, looky the light under those two wheels).
I now fully appreciate why so many of you (and now me) can't wipe that **** eating grin off your faces regardless of how angry the other driver is.
I am bad. I will try to be less bad. I may still be smiling.

Your text reads like my day yesterday, well most days. I'm a bad Mo'Fo too! SUVs should not race.

Long downhill with lots of big bends, even runaway truck roads! This stupid Mitsu**** giant black "Off-Road" vehicle races past me, right at the time I'm going to pass a Subaru, essentially cutting me off. He's going full-bore in that thing, so I decided to give him a second-place finish or watch him go "off-road" at 80. Went right around him on a sharp turn, he gunned it and gunned it, probally 240hp, downhill, but when the next turn came up, he was on the brakes dancing with the wall. I did not use my brakes once, just gas gas gas! That must confuse people, when they are running behind you and DON'T see a brake light, they don't think they'll have to brake either, big mistake. I've seen cars go into the wall in the wet that way, a 5.0 Rustang. (Type R with nitrous AND turbo, I think)

you're not alone
funny, how many many of those who "suffer" over sluggishness of our A4 fail to appreciate its braking power. many a time, i had launched like a missile every cd case, resting on passenger seat, while dodging SUV driving hausefauen.
tonight, i chewed up a hapless catera & pushed a blazer out of left line. it felt great.

You're bad, but we still like you...
Wanna know why?
Because it seems like ever since you've gotten your A4, you've been out driving it, instead of posting here.
That's real love man.

I think you have lots o company on this list - bad company. I hope we all survive.
I mostly leave road insults from glorified pseudo-truckers be; too much bad can happen when one acts out of anger. Staying alert and pre-empting the insult is a healthier strategy. But friendly challenges from Porsches and other German car drivers - that's different. Found out last week that I can break the sport Dunlop 9090's loose on dry pavement. But oh does that car correct nicely. I had less than 2' for the rear to slide before contact with high curb. Used up nearly all of it but got it back instantly with wheels still pristine and no huge embarrassment.
