Default No, it is an aftermarket tint shop.

They are listed as a dealer on SolarGard's website, sorry for the confusion.

Default Yes, it's a "company car" so it will be in parking lots often...

My local police are really laid back about tint, but travel to Louisville, KY and all through Southwestern IN so other local boys could be a problem.

Default Thanks guys. Going to do 28 or 20 in the rear, 37% on the front

Going to keep it legal and keep the warranty. Since I will be travelling throughout Southern Indiana and into some small towns, it was suggested I stay legal so the small town local boys don't give me trouble.

Default my vote is still 20%

or the compromise of 20% on rear window and 37 on sides.

to further complicate matters, you probably already know a darker car can take a darker tint more easily 'cause the contrast between paint and tint is not as great. . . . 20% tint on a white car will look heckuva dark. . .. 20% tint on black does not appear as dark.

Default I would make the rear window 20, the F/R sides 35.

The only part you won't get a warranty on is the front sides, but he should be able to give you a warranty on the rear and rear sides.

The darker rear definitely adds a lot better look to the tint. I hate seeing cars that don't have matching tint. It just looks bad.

Are you sure you like the Quantum? Charcoal looks better. The mirror stuff is kind cheesy.

Default Re: my vote is still 20%

I had heard the opposite, that with a black interior and black exterior, the 37% will look darker because there is less light reflect out from the interior...

Going to go by the shop and look at the demo car...
